The International Symposium on Performance Science (ISPS) is a biennial meeting of performers and scientists to discuss performance and the skills which underpin it. ISPS 2013 will be convened at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, 28-31 August 2013. The conference theme is: Performing Together. MMW member Dr Margaret Osborne will be presenting at this conference on her recent research which demonstrated that an 8-session performance psychology program administrered within a school environment successfully reduced music performance anxiety and increased motivation to learn and perform music in adolescent music students in Years 7,8 and 9.
