One woman who instinctively understands the transformative power of music is Denise Grocke, Emeritus Professor at the University of Melbourne. She has dedicated nearly fifty years to the therapeutic power of music and was recently awarded an Order of Australia or her pioneering work in developing the profession of music therapy in Australia.
