Dr Jeanette Tamplin Awarded VCRN Early Career Clinician Researcher Award

The VCRN Early Career Clinician Researcher awards were created by the VCRN to recognise and support clinicians who have demonstrated their commitment to careers as clinician researchers.

Biomedical Research Victoria (BioMedVic) is a leading member organisation that uniquely represents the interests of the broad and diverse Victorian health and medical research community.

The Victorian Clinician Research Network (VCRN) was established by BioMedVic to support clinician researchers in the medical, nursing and allied health professions. Guided by an Advisory Group, the VCRN aims to: (i) identify issues that impact clinician researchers; (ii) create opportunities for the exchange of information to support clinician researchers; and (iii) advocate for change aimed at improving the capacity for clinicians to conduct research in Victoria.

The VCRN ECCR Award (Allied Health Category) and a prize of $1,000, to contribute to attendance at a relevant conference will be awarded to Dr Tamplin on 8th December 2016.
